Petoskey stone pendant necklace on sterling silver chain

This necklace features a unique petoskey stone specimen on an 24” sterling chain. The stone was harvested and cut in Michigan by my mom! The stone is set in fine and sterling silver. The pendant measures approximately 1.25”long. 

All jewelry handmade with love at my in-home workbench. Imperfections are part of the handmade process and add to the rustic effect.

Silver care:

The best way to prevent tarnish is with regular wear and storing your pieces in an air tight container out of direct sunlight. Avoid bathing, exercising, and swimming in your silver. Avoid spraying perfume or other scented lotions onto your jewelry.

A sunshine cloth or other silver polishing cloth can be used to keep your sterling silver looking fresh after natural oxidization occurs!
